The Service

Unpack is a web-based journaling app designed to support CBT self-reflection. It is not a licensed therapy service or medical device and is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Unpack.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Notify us at hello@unpackapp.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

Free and Pro plans

The free plan allows up to 10 journal entries per calendar month. Counts reset on the 1st of each month. Unused entries do not roll over.

Pro subscribers get unlimited entries. Pro is $7.99/month or $59.99/year, renewing automatically until cancelled. You retain Pro access until the end of your billing period after cancelling.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Unpack to violate any law, attempt unauthorized access, transmit malware, or use the AI features to facilitate harm to yourself or others.

Your content

You own your journal entries. By using Unpack you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. THE AI ANALYSIS FEATURE IS FOR SELF-REFLECTION PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE MEDICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL ADVICE.

Limitation of liability

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS OR $50.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
